New Heart of Texas Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats
Prayer Vigil
Prayer is an integral part of our retreat. We are seeking prayer warriors to commit to pray for each and every hour we are at the retreat. We need prayer for the retreat, the leaders, the participants and their families and the circumstances surrounding their attendance. If you are able to dedicate as little as 30 minutes to prayer during our upcoming retreat please sign up. Your faithfulness means so much to us! Two weeks prior to each retreat we will post a Prayer Vigil Sign-up sheet so that our prayer warriors, like yourself, can pray for us.
New Heart of Texas Prayer Team Ministry
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of
prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always
keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18
Mission:
New Heart of Texas (NHT) prayer ministry exists to help further God’s
Kingdom through intercessory prayer over the entire NHT
community—retreat participants and their families, NHT leaders, donors,
businesses and anyone else who is connected to the ministry.
Vision:
Pray God’s Word. Request protection. Ask for unity and joy. Yield to the Holy
Spirit.
- Our prayers set the spiritual atmosphere for New Heart of Texas and set the stage
for lives to be saved and for people to be set free. - Like Jesus’ prayer, our job is to pray for all participants as well as those serving on
the NHT team (unbelievers / believers—disciples). - We will pray protection (John 17:15) over our leaders so they can do their job
unhindered by the attacks of the enemy. We will stand on God’s promise in Isaiah
54:17 that “no weapon formed against” our NHT team will prosper. In the same
manner, we will also pray protection over the participants so they are not distracted
from having a true encounter with God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the
Holy Spirit. - Our focus is to cover all NHT participants (including team leads) by asking God for
protection and praying for unity and joy during each retreat from beginning to end.
We will pray for the Holy Spirit to encounter both believers and non-believers; for
believers to be encouraged and realize victories in their walk, and for non-believers
to be saved. - We will pray also for more intercessors. God is growing our organization and we are
always looking for those willing to stand “in the gap” and pray for others.
Praying God’s Word is key.

Big Thanks to Our Volunteers
Our volunteers have gone through a retreat and experienced the healing process firsthand. Without our volunteers, our work wouldn’t be possible. See all the opportunities for volunteering that New Heart of Texas offers.
