Melanie Gregg Charleston has been a licensed attorney since 2003. She currently works at the school law firm of Walsh, Gallegos, Kyle, Robinson and Roalson as senior counsel focusing on labor and employment law and assisting school boards as board counsel.
Melanie and her husband Carlen have four adult children and three grandchildren. They minister at Henderson Chapel in Prairie View, Texas where they enjoy teaching Sunday School and attend Community of Faith in Hockley, Texas. Carlen and Melanie also enjoy going on mission trips and look forward to doing more international mission work. For the last several years, until this year, Melanie has been on the board of the Waller Pregnancy Care Center that assists men and women with unplanned pregnancies including offering parenting classes to strengthen families. Melanie also volunteers with New Heart of Texas’ Rachel’s Vineyard retreats that help men and women hurt by abortion and has recently joined their board. Melanie truly believes that God has gifted her with the ability to teach and with good health to share His Word with His people. She takes neither for granted and hopes to impart to others the joy God gives from doing His business.
