Ronald (Ron) Wedemeyer is a seasoned architect with over five decades of experience in the field of architecture. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Houston, after attending Texas A&M University, laying a strong foundation for his professional journey. After attending Texas A&M University for 4 years, he served honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Berlin Germany.

Ronald spent 32 years working in private practice, where he honed his expertise in designing innovative, functional, and sustainable spaces for a diverse range of clients. His portfolio includes a variety of residential and commercial projects, each marked by his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence. His work has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of both design aesthetics and the technical aspects of architecture.

After his extensive experience in private practice, Ronald transitioned to MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he served as a Managing Architect. In this role, he applies his architectural knowledge and expertise to lead a team of professionals and help shape healthcare environments that foster healing and well-being, contributing to the institution’s reputation for excellence in cancer treatment and research.

Beyond his professional life, Ronald is deeply committed to his faith in Jesus Christ and is an active member of Southstone Church. His passion for faith and community plays an integral role in shaping his approach to life and work, grounding his values in service, integrity, and compassion.

In his free time, Ronald enjoys woodworking and working with metal, channeling his creativity into hands-on projects that reflect his appreciation for craftsmanship and design. His career and personal life are a reflection of his dedication to excellence, his strong moral compass, and his desire to share his faith in the world.
