What We Do

Our primary goal is healing for anyone who has suffered this kind of emotional trauma. Once these individuals have experienced healing and have begun the process of recovery, it is our vision that each person would in turn share their testimony with someone else so that the cycle of healing and reconciliation will continue. Serving others is an important part of celebrating healing. We strive to connect individuals with ministry opportunities, through volunteering at their local pregnancy resource center or facilitating a group study for others who have suffered in similar ways.

Why We Do It

Our mission is to provide hope and healing to those whose hearts have been broken through traumatic events such as abortion, sexual, physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse.  Our cornerstone program is Rachel’s Vineyard, an abortion recovery weekend retreat.

What Retreat Attendees Say

Here are some quotes from participants who have experienced the healing power of this life-changing retreat.

 “Secrets Revealed.”

“I came to Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat not even knowing or understanding how deeply my abortion impacted me.  I had kept it a secret for twenty years.  God started bringing things to mind over the past year and I know it was time to address my deepest darkest secret.  God revealed to me many roots of hardened areas of my heart.  Things like shame, unworthiness, anger, unforgiveness, and jealously were revealed to me during the weekend.  Through the exercises and scriptures, I was able to be set free from the bondage I’ve been living in for the past years.  I was able to acknowledge the precious life of my two babies, one aborted and one miscarried.  I learned to separate the act of abortion and the life of my baby.  I feel able to move forward into the life Christ has called me to.  The weekend gave me freedom and forgiveness.”

“God healed and revealed my pain.

“Grief to Grace was an intense five days of reliving and remembering some of the most painful events and experiences in my life.  However, it was done with immense love and guidance.  A team of qualified counselors, clergy and staff lead me gently through a well-constructed program that brought healing, deliverance, acceptance, breakthrough and victory to me by the end of the retreat.  My truth was heard, my feelings encouraged, and my pain was respected without judgement or condemnation.  Valuable tools were given so that my healing journey could continue when I left the retreat.  Every part of this God ordained program was executed professionally.  The friendships I gained were an extra bonus.”

“The Spirit of God is freeing.”

“I have witnessed many miracles in my life but none so freeing as I witnessed at Rachel’s Vineyard. The Spirit of God just moves in and does a wonderful work in each person’s life.”

“I came to support my wife.”

“This retreat for me was surprisingly needed. I came to support my wife and left feeling blessed and delivered. I found out that God wanted me to heal from the same trauma that my wife experienced. Before Rachel’s Vineyard, we only discussed this issue briefly. While at the retreat I learned she had lost two children to abortions and so did I. We were able to deal with everything together. God is Powerful!”
